Unknown loss
Aug. 13th, 2018 04:02 amSometimes, you can just feel the great loss of some nebulous thing within yourself. You don’t know what you’ve lost, only that you’ve lost it. Was it ever there? If it wasn’t, how do you explain the void where it should be? Something is lost, but you’ll never know anything more than that. Sometimes, not knowing is as painful. The void within aches, but nothing can quite patch the hole. Nothing can cover the empty space. How can you regret losing what you’ve never known? It doesn’t matter how, just that you do.
