So, I've been playing FF Type-O recently.
I'm really enjoying it, minus the timer between missions. I like to wander around and talk to everyone, so I'm having a hard time with being unable to. I have to prioritize which conversation to get into and which tasks to do, and which cutscenes to watch. Beyond that I actually am doing pretty well with the fighting and exploring.
My favorite to play has been Seven. That whip is really useful for mid-range and closer combat. Not to mention that if you do it right, it also can hit creatures behind you without you having to sight them. Next up would probably be Cater, she's probably my favorite of the distance fighters. I don't really prefer most of the up close fighters, probably where I sometimes have difficulty with making sure I am close enough to an enemy for them to be able to hit them.
I'm only currently in chapter 3, but I love how rich the world is. They really took the time to come up with all sorts of backstory things and little pieces of information you can come across as you play.
I know that this story doesn't really have a happy end (at least on the first playthrough), but I'm still enjoying it.
